Boeing are bringing their new 787-9 Dreamliner downunder! and to our red centre at Alice Springs. Flying operations here is for the purpose of heat testing in temperatures exceeding 38 degrees Celsius. It should be no problem for us to turn up those temps As per flightaware.com as expected B787-9 Dreamliner, N789FT arrived in Auckland just after 5pm Brisbane time 04.01.14. This was after a 13 hour 14 min flight from Boeing field, Seattle (KBFI). Dreamliner, N789FT is scheduled to arrive in Alice Springs on the 06th of this month via a stop-over in Brisbane Brisbane plane-spotters can expect a landing at 12pm and take-off at 3pm on this day. Air New Zealand will be the launch airline for the B787-9 and it's debut is set for the 15th of October flying the route Auckland to Perth.
